Bernhard Tschofen

Bernhard Tschofen, born in 1966 in Bregenz, ist Austrian cultural scientist and ethnologist. After his studies of folklore, art history and empirical cultural studies at the Universities of Innsbruck and Tübingen he curated several exhibitions and worked at the Austrian Museum of Folklore. As professor of Popular Cultures at the Universtiy of Zurich since 2013 his research and teaching focus has been, amongst other things, on regional ethnography, cultural analysis of daily life and museum sciences. Moreover, Tschofen joins the scientific advisory board of the Vienna Museum.
